Hakama stays perfectly arranged and its pleats do not smooth out for much longer time. It is also easy to take care of and launder. Standard rayon-poly hakama is intended for people who look for good looking and comfortable hakama. Used fabrick is very breathable. Hakama is made on the basis of traditional cut with 5 pleats on the front and 2 pleats on the back. Straps are quilted 8 times to preserve them from stretching and deforming. Side fly is strengthened to preserve it from tearing. It has belt loops on its inside to hang hakama for drying. A koshiita is filled with a rubber flexible plate. AIKIDO HAKAMA TONBO TC BLACK We do not keep stock of ready products. It is made under an order. Aikido hakama TC is made of mix of 65% polyester and 35% cotton with twill weave. The first component is responsible for the longer maintenance of the hakama pleats, minimizing material shrinkage during washing and abrasion resistance, the second for the naturalness of the fabric. The fabric is slightly stiffer than 100% cotton but more elegant. It's made on the basis of traditional cut with 7 pleats, 5 on the front and 2 on the back. Bokken Premium White Oak Bokken is produced in and imported directly from Japan. This high quality Japanese weapon is made from one piece of seasoned white oak wood (shiro kasha). Its natural structure are dark, tiny, oblong rings (density depends on the part of tree which the piece of wood was taken from). White oak is known for its toughness as well as flexibility. If seasoned correctly, environmental impact to deformations is marginal. Weapon made of of this type of wood is completely suitable for full contact training. Japanese flip-flops, padded with rice straw matting. The sole is made of a stiff material (which imitates traditional wooden Zori) with skid-proof texture. Straps are made of soft, nice to touch, velour cloth. They are quilted several times to prevent them from stretching. The flip-flops are tended to be used in dry environment because of the rice straw matting. In order to clean them, use a damp rag with small amount of detergent. Avoid contact with water.
