The first component is responsible for the longer maintenance of the hakama pleats, minimizing material shrinkage during washing and abrasion resistance, the second for the naturalness of the fabric. The fabric is slightly stiffer than 100% cotton but more elegant. It's made on the basis of traditional cut with 7 pleats, 5 on the front and 2 on the back.
