The Square jacket is made of light and thin cotton with a square pattern and a weight of 250gsm. This model is a perfect solution for training in the summer or in heated rooms, or for people who prefer light and comfortable clothes. Light and airy, it gives great freedom of movement because the cut which is used for sewing is a cross between judogi and kendogi. The horizontal and vertical seams so characteristic of judo clothing have been removed from the front and back of the jacket body. This was especially made to remove the seams running across or along the spine exposed to injuries in falls and to improve the aesthetics of the garment. Additionally, the jacket is equipped with internal and external hip straps to help keep the front flaps in place. The narrower body and sleeves help keep the jacket in place during training.

The difference between aikido and judo or jiu-jitsu significantly influences the necessity to use all kinds of reinforcements in the clothing for these two martial arts. To improve the comfort of training, we do not use in aikido jackets any shoulders, chest or armpits reinforcements, which in this martial art are impractical, but only make the gi heavier and less comfortable, especially when sweat soaks into it and gains additional weight.

Classic 10oz trousers are the most popular pants designed on the basis of a traditional cut, adjusted to specific aikido trainings. Standard judo pants are strengthened only near the knee area, while Tonbo pants are strengthened all the way down to the very end of a pant leg - to prevent them from tearing apart while performing movements in suwariwaza.

Both jacket and pants are stitched with the core threads distinguished by their high resistance to tearing and wearing through. Main seems are sewed in using 3 times quilted french seam.

We offer this set in 27 different sizes which are divided base on height: from 155cm to 200cm and base on body shape:
- for slim people - NARROW,
- for people with a standard figure - REGULAR,
- for people of solid stature - LOOSE
