Jo is produced in and imported directly from Japan. This high quality Japanese weapon is made from one piece of seasoned white oak wood (shiro kasha). Its natural structure are dark, tiny, oblong rings (density depends on the part of tree which the piece of wood was taken from). White oak is known for its toughness as well as flexibility. If seasoned correctly, environmental impact to deformations is marginal. Weapon made of of this type of wood is completely suitable for full contact training. IAIDO HAKAMA TONBO HEAVY NAVY BLUE   Product made under an order. We do not keep stock. Iaido hakama made of a beautiful material consisting of a mixture of rayon and polyester. Twice as thick as the material used in ANRAKU iaido hakama. Despite its thickness, the material works very well, and thanks to polyester, it keeps the pleats perfectly for a long time. The thickness of the fabric guarantees the durability of the hakama and ensures that it will not fly around in any way during training. The product is an excellent choice for people looking for a cotton-thick hakama, but unlike it: elegant, durable and easy to maintain. The hakama is sewn based on a classic cut with 5 pleats at the front and 2 at the back. The stripes (himo) are stitched four times. IAIDOGI TONBO HEAVY NAVY BLUE Product made under an order. We do not keep stock. Iaidogi HEAVY is made of fabric which is an elegant mix of rayon and polyester, based on the traditional cut. In contrast to iaidogi ANRAKU the fabric is more heavy and has got diagonal weave. Sleeves are sewn in at the right angles to the sideline of gi, to give great comfort while lifting your hands above your head.This type of stitching minimizes the effect of removing the body sweatshirts from hakama. Vertical seams called "okumi" are also designed for this purpose. They run through front flaps and center of the back, slightly stiffening and equalizing them, giving an elegant smoothness. AIKIDO JACKET TONBO NATSU This product is made to order. We do not keep stock. The lead time under the product name. Natsu means summer. This aikido gi was named Natsu because it was designed especially for very intensive trainings in hot summer days or in warm dojos, where classic aikido gi's with bamboo fabric on top does not prove to be useful because of their thickness and stiffness.  The natsu aikido gi is being made based on a cut used for judo gi, but a bamboo fabric on top part is exchanged with a lighter and softer material with very interesting square pattern. The lower part of jacket is made with a cotton fabric with rhombus pattern. Following classic judo gi cut, we reinforced shoulder and front chest areas with additional square cotton layer. There are no collar and underarm reinforcements which are useless in aikido training, making the jacket only more heavy.
