The Aikido Square jacket is made entirely of lightweight and thin cotton with a square pattern and a weight of 250g/m2. This gi is an excellent solution for training, especially during the summer period or in heated rooms, or for people who prefer light, comfortable, and convenient clothing. Lightweight and breathable, it provides great freedom of movement as the cut used for sewing is a cross between a judogi and a kendogi. While maintaining diagonally overlapping flaps at the front and back of the torso, horizontal and vertical seams characteristic of judo clothing have been removed. This treatment was applied to eliminate seam thickening running across or along the spine, which is prone to injury during falls, and to improve the garment's aesthetics. The applied cut allows the jacket flaps to overlap higher than in the case of a judogi cut. Additionally, the jacket is equipped with internal and external hip straps that help keep the front flaps in place. The cut, more body-fitting than a judogi, helps keep the aikidogi behind the belt or in the hakama during training. Narrower torso and sleeves and a different way of sewing the sleeves help keep the jacket in the proper place during training.

The difference between aikido and judo significantly affects the need to use all kinds of reinforcements in clothing for these two martial arts. Therefore, to improve training comfort, we do not use reinforcements on the shoulders, chest, or underarms in aikidogi, which are impractical in aikido and only make the jacket heavier and less comfortable, especially when sweat soaks in and adds extra weight. We use durable core-spun threads for sewing.

We sew the Aikido Square jacket in 27 sizes divided by height from 155 to 200 cm and by body build:
- for slim people - NARROW,
- for people with a standard build - REGULAR,
- for people with a solid build - LOOSE
