IAIDO HAKAMA TONBO PREMIUM COTTON NAVY BLUE

This hakama is made of 100% cotton, dyed in navy blue. It's an offer for those people who prefer a bit heavier hakamas made of natural fibres but with stable pigment. Premium cotton hakama, same as all our hakamas, is made on the basis of traditional cut with 7 pleats, 5 on the front and 2 on the back. 

Both front and back straps are quilted 4 times. The side flies are strengthened to preserve them from tearing. Premium cotton hakama has also 2 belt loops on its inside to improve holding it in its desired position, they are helpful when drying too. Koshiita is filled with a stiff insert that helps maintain the correct position. The hakama has a plastic "hera" sewn under the koshiita from the inside, which, when placed behind the obi, keeps the back of the hakama in place. The front of the iaido hakama is approximately 2 cm shorter than the back. Hakama sewn with core threads with increased resistance to tearing and abrasion.

We offer our hakamas in several universal sizes with seperation for man and women (detailed size description is placed in the table underneath). While man and women both are the same height, their hakamas differ. Hakama for women is longer and tighter. Women tie up their hakamas on their waist, differently than man, who wear their hakamas down on the hips. Hakama for women has got a tighter koshi ita, fitted to women's slimmer body and a tighter front. It has shorter straps too. Women's cut also includes larger difference of circumferences between waist and hips. 

Even though, if you worry about buying hakama that won't suit you, we also produce hakamas in individual sizes. They are more expensive but they will surely fit you perfectly. If you decide to buy a hakama in an individual size, remember to choose size "individual" while adding product to your basket and later on give us the information such as circumferences of your waist and hips and hakama's desired lenght.
