IAIDO weapon bag for Iaito Katana and Bokken

This bag was designed for people practicing or planning to practice Iaido for many years. While designing it, we set ourselves a number of targets:

  • the bag must hold a sword and a boken (look up the dimensions below)
  • protection: the bag must protect weapons well, and therefore consists three layers of protection: two layers of durable polyester fabric resistant to leaking (used in mountaineering backpacks) and a foam located between them, which protects the weapon from accidental impacts
  • ergonomics: that is why the shape of the bag is matched to the curvature of the sword and boken. It is fastened with a zip lock, giving easy access to weapons and has got an adjustable carrying strap. Outside there is a pocket for tsuba and tsubadome
  • strength: we used only high quality materials resistant to external conditions and daily use, and very tough strands with a meaningful name "Titan"
  • identification: name card holder to sign your weapons
  • high aesthetics of workmanship (see the pictues below)
